How does it work?

Use Zoom to participate on your desktop or mobile device. After you book you’ll receive an email with a link and details on how to join.

In order to guide you properly, we kindly ask you to make ONE RESERVATION FOR EACH PERSON.

Please maintain the amount of the INGREDIENTS, don’t multiply and don’t replace them for the class, it could change the final result.

What to bring

▶ IMPORTANT: respect the amount of the ingredients, don’t multiply them for the class, it could change the preparation time. The Gnocchi recipe serves 2/3 people and with the Tiramisù one you get up to 6 portions.

HOW DOES IT WORK? Check and prepare in advance the following:

+ Starchy potatoes – Russet or Red potatoes: 450 gr or 1lb (already washed, with the skin on, don’t peel them!) ***Baby potatoes are not suggested***
+ “00” Flour or all-purpose flour: 115 gr or 1 cup + 115 gr or 1 cup (keep the amounts separate)
+ Egg: 1 fresh

+ Extra-Virgin Olive Oil: 60 gr or 2 oz or 6 tablespoons
+ Fresh Leaves of Basil: 30 gr or 1 oz (about 2 bunches of basil)
+ Grated Parmigiano cheese: 30 gr or 1 oz or about 6 tablespoons
+ Shelled Walnuts: 15 gr or ½ oz (2 shelled walnuts)
+ Garlic: ½ clove

+ Electric food chopper, or Nutri bullet / Magic bullet, or blender/immersion blender
+ Medium/big pot + lid (filled with 3,5 liters or 1 gallon of water and placed on a large stove)
+ Potato ricer or potato masher or fork
+ Colander or mandolin strainer
+ Small bowl + fork (to whisk the egg)

+ 250 gr (½ lb) of mascarpone cheese (fridge temperature)
+ 120 ml (½ cup) of heavy whipping cream (fridge temperature)
+ 2 large fresh eggs
+ White sugar (caster or granulated)
+ 20/25 lady fingers
+ 1 ½ cup of light espresso (cold temperature, no sugar); pour the coffee in a bowl (large enough to soak the ladyfingers). If you want you can add one tablespoon of Amaretto liquor in the coffee
+ chocolate chips (to taste)
+ cocoa powder (to sprinkle on top)

+ 3 bowls (large, medium and small)
+ Any electric mixer (strongly recommended) with beaters or whisks or wire whip
+ Plastic spatula
+ 6 Glasses or jars (200 ml); in alternative you can use a medium cake pan to make a little cake (about 8×8 inches or 20×20 cm)

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION: we kindly ask you to cancel your reservation at least a week before the start time of the class. If you book a date closer to the class, you have a maximum of 24 hours after booking to advise us in case you have to cancel.

RESCHEDULE: you can reschedule your class up to 48 hours before the class starts. Please consider that any change is subject to our availability.

EXTRA PARTICIPANTS: if you need to bring more people to the class, please let us know as soon as you know, and we’ll try to accommodate your extra participants.

I loved this experience and will definitely be recommending it to friends headed to the Amalfi Coast! Sacha and Giò are both super knowledgeable and passionate about what they are teaching and it shows. They explain everything in a way that’s easy to follow, and they are not just showing you the steps, but also the the “why” of what you’re doing, which helps ensure you’re leaving with a real new skill.
No other class option I found had as much of a focus on the pasta making piece as this class did, and that part was especially useful and totally hit the mark of what I was hoping for. Nothing like getting the feel for for dough making with a coach alongside you to help you correct and understand what you’re doing.
Sasha and Giò are also very warm, friendly, and fun social facilitators. I went solo and was worried it would feel super couply but it was a wonderful team atmosphere and I had a great time chatting and cooking with the other participants. Easy to get to and from their place, and the kitchen is awesome. If you’re thinking about doing this, do it!

Great experience and a highlight of two weeks in Italy. Giò and Sasha were very entertaining and welcoming, fun to spend an evening with and learning how to make a few pasta dishes. The location is also great, getting me out of tourist spots and exploring the cool village of Meta. I caught the sunset at the park around the corner right before class started, it was perfect 🙌

We attended the pasta masterclass as 2 couples. I gave this as a Christmas gift and it proved to be perfect. Gio and Sacha were great teachers and hosts. We left confident that we could recreate the dishes back home. We learnt many tricks and tips that could be used in many pasta dishes. A definite highlight of our time in Sorrento. We even went to the Sorrento market to buy the right utensils to take back with us!

Wonderful experience. Actually it was the highlight of my stay in Italy and it was on a first day of vacation.
Went there with my girlfriend, she had some experience with pasta making, I haven't. However the approach Gio and Sacha explain, and present things is perfect. So this experience is perfect both for experienced or not-so-experienced pasta enthusiasts. You won't use pasta machines for rolling or shaping. Everything is done with your hands and fingers - and soon you will realize that's how it should be done 😀
Everything you make you will eat, Sacha will also take you through a course of making sauces - three perfect sauces matched with pasta fills. And explained how to easily make them on a real restaurant level.
